2026 April Council Announcement

SCM results: 73 members attended the Special Congregational Meeting on April 26, 2026.   The motion to amend the 2026 budget regarding the Building Fund was approved, with 60 in favor and 4 against.

We will be celebrating our 52nd Church anniversary on July 4, 2026.  Save the date!  More information to follow.

Church building development: The notes on March 31 Wayfinder info session had been posted on basement bulletin board.  Pray for wisdom as leadership continue in discernment.

Mission Pledge 2026:  We are adding a new organization “Lighthouse Harbour Ministries”  as one of the 8 organizations we will be supporting for Mission Pledge.  Lighthouse Harbour Ministries is a Christian mission based in British Columbia that serves international seafarers by sharing the Gospel, offering spiritual care, and providing practical support and hospitality.

Mission Day: Pastor Matthew Yuen of Alliance Global Serve Canada will be sharing messages during our CM and EM worship services on May 23, 24 weekend.  Following English sunday worship on May 24, he will be hosting a seminar on learning about Muslims, followed by a visit to a mosque.  Contact Grace Suen for more information.

• Pray for God’s guidance in hiring a church secretary and an English Ministry pastor, and in meeting the pastoral needs of our youth.

• Unity as we seek and live out God’s vision and mission for our future.
