2025年四月份執事會報告 April Church Council Announcements

四月份執事會報告：

  1. 坡道更新 - 現在最後階段等待建築師文件, 讓市政府進行檢批。 請注意： 外側通往地庫的樓梯未開放使用。 感謝負責這項目的肢體，勞心勞力；多謝弟兄姊妹體諒和忍耐。

  2. 教會51周年紀念活動：將於2025年7月5日星期六在大溫哥華聖道堂（5110 Marine Drive）舉行。 主題： 宣教使命與外展。 內容包括：敬拜讚美/分享/愛筵。 請弟兄姊妹預留時間一同感恩慶祝。

  3. 今年四月份加拿大信義聯會（CALC）大會上， 吳庭亮牧師當選加拿大信義聯會委員會理事, 任期為4年（2025年 至2029年)。 我們感恩吳牧師願意委身和承擔， 盼望弟兄姊妹為他禱告支持。

  4. 教會將聘請Kovia Lam 姊妹作兼職簿記員，預計2025年6月開始上任。 

  5. 教會仍在尋找2024財政年度的內部審計師。

  6. 教會土庫新添了一張乒乓球桌， 歡迎弟兄姊妹使用。 為保障弟兄姊妹能安全地享這設施 ，請注意遵守使用守則。


為教會禱告：

  • 坡道建設 - 最後通過政府檢批； 禮堂幼兒房和土庫兒童教室裝修工程。

  • 英語堂聘請牧師，求主預備。 國,粵語事工三位牧者禱告: 求神加能賜力, 彼此配搭, 帶領教會。

  • 教會發展 - 新建築， 各事工需要/方向



April 2025 Council announcements:

  1. Ramp update - We are ready for City Inspection but we are still awaiting a document from the Architect which is required for City Inspector to come. Reminder: please do not use the side stairs to the basement as it is not open for use yet. Thanks everyone for your attention and patience.  Also much appreciate the effort, coordination, and communication of our dedicated members who oversee this project. 

  2. Our 51st Anniversary Celebration will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Evangelical Chinese Bible Church (ECBC) 5110 Marine Drive. Theme is Mission and Outreach. Save the date and come join us for a time of praise and worship, followed by lunch together. Please note that we are looking for people to help out in many areas so if you are interested, do not hesitate to approach any ministry leader or pastor.

  3. Pastor Gordon was elected to CALC National Council as a trustee for a 4 year term (April 2025 to April 2029) at this year’s CALC Convention. We are thankful for Pastor Gordon’s willingness and commitment to serve on the National Council.  

  4. We have hired a part-time bookkeeper, Kovia Lam. Expected start date: June 1, 2025

  5. We are still looking for an auditor for the year 2024. If you or know of someone who is qualified, please let a Council member or pastor know.

  6. Like to play some ping pong? We now have a ping pong table in the basement and everyone is welcome to use it. Please observe the guidelines for its use which are posted by the table. Bring your paddles and ping pong balls and serve it up!


Prayer Items:

  1. Ramp project - delay in scheduling a City inspection. Nursery and baby classroom renovations. 

  2. English ministry Pastoral search; CM and MM Pastors. 

  3. Church development: New Building, ministry needs/direction
