六月份執事會報告:

  1. 教會財務預算歷年都備有神學生津貼/補助基金，以供有志獻身作全職宣教士或牧師的神學生申請。每年4,000元津助兩位合資格的神學生。有意申請者，可向牧者查詢詳情。

  2. 教會51周年紀念活動將於2025年7月5日（星期六）在大溫哥華聖道堂（5110 Marine Drive）舉行。 主題： 宣教使命與外展。 內容包括：敬拜讚美/分享/愛筵。 詳情請參閱海報.  請弟兄姊妹踴躍參與, 盡快報名!

  3. 感謝主帶領，我們已獲楊偉勳弟兄應允作本堂的2024年度審計師。

  4. 暑期各事工夏令營/ 短宣和外展活動：

    1. 國語事工: 7月11-13 日: 參加加拿大恩福協會主辦的中国基督徒門訓營。

    2. 英語事工:

      • 7月13日 與巴色崇真堂聯合戶外崇拜

      • 7月18至20日 夏令會 @ Camp Luther

    3. 粵語事工:

      • 6月28至7月2日Kelowna短宣

      • 7月17日 首次星期六兒童崇拜

      • 7月26日週六戶外崇拜+ BBQ @ Central Park

      • 8月2日至5日: 兒童暑期聖經營

  5. 禱告事項:

    1. 教會牧者和執事： 將於9月1日舉行一天執事退修會：求主帶領整個過程，賜下智慧、合一與方向，讓執事們在主裡得著更新與力量。

    2. 英語堂聘請牧者，求主引導，按着祂的心意和時機預備差遣合適的牧者。

    3. 各部門領袖規劃2026年事工和預算。

    4. 教會發展 - 重新開始研討可行的建堂發展計劃，並同時進行提升/改善現有的設施。


June 2025 Council announcements:

  1. Do you know that a scholarship is available for members interested in furthering studies to be a full-time pastor or missionary ? We offer an award of $2000 each per year to 2 qualified applicants. If interested, please speak to the pastors for more information. 

  2. Our 51st Anniversary Celebration will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Evangelical Chinese Bible Church (ECBC) 5110 Marine Drive. The theme is Mission and Outreach. Reminder to register as soon as possible as the date is fast approaching!

  3. Raymond Young has been appointed as Auditor for 2024. Thanks be to God!

  4. Various Ministry Events during Summer:

    1. Mandarin Ministry: July 11-13 joining the Discipleship training camp organized by Christian Communication Inc. Canada   

    2. Cantonese Ministry:

      • June 28-July 2, 2025: Short-term mission trip to Kelowna

      • first Children’s worship on July 17, 2025

      • July 26, 2025: Saturday worship at Central Park followed by joint BBQ with Joshua Fellowship 

      • August 2-5, 2025: Vacation Bible School camp

    3. English Ministry:

      • July 13, 2025: Joint outdoor worship with Basel Hakka

      • July 18-20: Summer camp @ Camp Luther

  5. Prayer Items:

    1. Please keep our pastors and council members in your prayers. They’ll have a one day retreat on September 1, 2025. Please pray for God’s guidance, unity and spiritual renewal.

    2. Please keep praying for God’s guidance and timing in our ongoing English Pastoral Search.

    3. Leaders starting to plan for 2026 and budgeting process.

    4. Please pray for God’s guidance in the development of the new building: Restart to discuss the feasible development plan for building, and continue to upgrade/improve our existing facilities.
