2025年五月份執事會報告 May Church Council Announcements

五月份執事會報告:

  1. 讚美主！ 我們全新的坡道已經開放使用。 停車場仍然需要油漆線和安裝安全輪擋板。 請注意停車時不要超越臨時放置的繩子和標記。 感謝Brenton和團隊為這個專案付出的努力。

  2. 教會51周年紀念活動將於2025年7月5日（星期六）在大溫哥華聖道堂（5110 Marine Drive）舉行。 主題： 宣教使命與外展。 內容包括：敬拜讚美/分享/愛筵。 詳情請參閱海報, 現已開始接受報名。 請弟兄姊妹踴躍參與。

  3. 禮堂後面幼兒房（設有兒童專用廁所！）和土庫兒童教室裝修工程已經完成！感謝 Eric Char 和 Henry Lee，為我們的小朋友打造出美麗又舒適的空間。請大家進入前務必脫鞋。

  4. 教會新購置一些中英聖經可供應團契/ 主日學或小組查經使用。  歡迎弟兄姊妹聚會時借用, 使用後請放回原處。

  5. 我們目前仍在徵求2024財政年度的義務內部審計師。如果您或您認識的人對這個事奉崗位感興趣， 請聯絡司庫何黎潔文(Kitty)姊妹或蔡沛樺(Bertha)姊妹。 


禱告事項:

  • 教會牧者和執事： 9月1日執事退修會 - 求主帶領整個退修會，賜下智慧、合一與方向，讓我們在主裡得著更新與力量。

  • 英語堂聘請牧者， 求主引導,按着祂的心意和時機預備差遣合適的牧者。

  • 教會發展 - 新建築，各事工需要/方向。包括有不同事工:  新移民, 兒童,青少年, 長者。



May 2025 Council announcements:

  1. Praise the Lord! As we all can see our ramp is open for use. Note that the parking lot still needs lines painted and safety wheel blockers installed. Please be mindful of the temporary string and markers that have been put up when parking. Thank you to Brenton and the team for all the hard work they put into this project.

  2. Our 51st Anniversary Celebration will be held on Saturday July 5, 2025 at Evangelical Chinese Bible Church (ECBC) 5110 Marine Drive.  Theme is Mission and Outreach. Please see posters for more details and registration is now open!

  3. The renovations to the nursery in the sanctuary (with a child’s toilet!)  and the basement is complete. Thank you to Eric and also Henry Lee for making this space comfortable and beautiful. Please note that no shoes are allowed in these 2 rooms to keep it clean. 

  4. There are some new bilingual (Chinese/English) Bibles available for use during fellowship/ small groups/ Sunday school.  All are welcome to use them; please put them back after use.

  5. We are still looking for an auditor for the year 2024. If you know of anyone who is qualified/ interested, please let a Council member or pastor know.


Prayer Items:

  • Please keep our Pastors and Council members in your prayers: They’ll have a one-day retreat on September 1, 2025.  Please pray for God’s guidance, unity, and spiritual renewal.

  • Please keep praying for God’s guidance and timing in our ongoing English pastoral search.

  • Please pray for God’s guidance in the development of the new building, and for His direction our various ministries.
